We are inspired by the work of principal Amber Bishop and are making a $1000 gift, which includes $500 to match funds raised through the #PeriodProject to help them buy sanitary supplies for the school bathrooms, and a library kit for the school that contains copies of The Confidence Code for Teen Girls and our SOAR booklet which is filled with stories of inspiring Canadian trailblazers like music icon Susan Aglukark, Dragon’s Den entrepreneur Barg Stegemman, and gold medalist Rosie Maclennan.

December 7, 2018 – GlassSKY, along with Innovatia and Janice Brown Design, is honoured to have earned global recognition for the Women for 50% campaign. The New Brunswick initiative known as Women for 50% has earned global recognition for its public awareness campaign leading up to the fall 2018 provincial election. At an awards show in Dublin, Ireland this week, Women for 50% received honours from the North American Excellence Awards, a competition that recognizes the most outstanding achievements in the field of communications. Women for 50% took home the top prize as the winner in the small-budget Campaign of the Year, alongside other category winners and industry giants like AT&T, IBM, Fujifilm, and American Express. November 2, 2017 – GlassSKY is proud to participate in  ACT ONE in Moncton, New Brunswick, a conference to engage newcomers, youth and leadership in discussing how to attract, retain and engage the next-generation for economic and social growth. Organized by community leader Cindy Comeau of C3 Leadership, and presenting sponsor Armour Transportation, the day hosted a variety of passionate speakers. November 1, 2017 – GlassSKY is proud to support the Big Brothers Big Sisters Inaugural Inspire Mentoring Awards in Saint John, New Brunswick. Big Brothers Big Sisters matches over 400 ‘bigs and littles’ each year in the community, but there remain over 100 littles on the wait list, mostly boys. This event will raise critical funding to expand the much-needed mentoring programs.

  • Eight individuals will receive an Inspire Award to recognize their contribution to mentoring in our community

October 27, 2017 – GlassSKY president Robyn Tingley Keynotes YPEI’s YDAY at Holland College in Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island. Young leaders from across Prince Edward Island, aging from 16 – 30, convened to discuss policy recommendations for the provincial government on youth retention and civic engagement. Robyn’s keynote focused on the valuable skills and perspective Millennials bring to our society and workplaces, and she taught the audience the 10 Essentials for high performance. Everyone left with a self-evaluation and a copy of the 10 Essentials for the Motivated Millennial to do work on their own and continue the learning.

October 22, 2017 – GlassSKY Inc. supports the Elizabeth Fry society with donations for its upcoming fundraiser High Tea. Funds from this program enable incarcerated mothers to record themselves reading aloud from children’s books. The recordings are then delivered to their children at home — helping mothers keep strong connections with their children and support rehabilitation.

October 10, 2017 – UNB Faculty of Engineering hosts Robyn Tingley for their RBC Lunch n Learn series at the J Herbert Smith Centre for Technology Management & Entrepreneurship. This keynote will feature a primer on GlassSKY as a social enterprise, give students an opportunity to complete a self evaluation on the 10 Essentials, and discuss women in STEM. Join us!

October 3-4, 2017 — GlassSKY Inc. presents at Banfield Pet Hospital’s first-ever Women’s Summit in Vancouver, Washington. Banfield is the world’s largest general-veterinary practice and part of the Mars Inc, family of businesses. The program by GlassSKY will feature education on gender diversity, unconscious bias and the meritocracy myth. September 21, 2017 — The American National Human Resource Association hosts a webinar by GlassSKY’s Robyn Tingley. The Motivated Millennial program will give participants:

  • A stronger knowledge base regarding Millennials as a specific cohort that needs its own engagement plan for better retention and results
  • An understanding of what Millennials themselves are indicating they want in terms of training in the workplace — both content and methods of delivery
  • Knowledge on how to support employee wellness, both mental and physical, for higher productivity and engagement

This program has been pre-approved for 1.0 HR credit hours. Additionally, this program has been pre-approved for 1.0 Professional Development Credits (PDCs) by the Society of Human Resource Management.
