Eleanor is an experienced marketing consultant with expertise in writing, marketing research and digital media. Through her consultancy, New Marketing Today, Eleanor coaches leaders to leverage the power of LinkedIn to grow business, brands, and careers.
Seeking the “new and better” has continually fueled Eleanor’s career: conducting marketing research on new-to- the-world products and services at Bell Aliant and Atlantic Lottery; creating ‘content marketing’ at a social media start-up; chasing breaking stories as a CBC journalist and radio producer, and as a founding editor of The District, a local newspaper.
Her volunteer responsibilities include Chair of the New Brunswick Regional Board of Women in Communications & Technology, where she also actively mentors women as part of the WCT Mentorship Program. She has fundraised for 10 years for Heart & Stroke Foundation, and recently, served as an active board member of Fundy Sound, where she was instrumental in helping launch a successful, biennial international choral festival in Saint John.
Eleanor uses her expertise to advise GlassSKY on market research, data analysis, and product creation.
